One of the best exhibitions I've ever seen: Jean Tinguely at the Pompidou Centre in Paris in the late 80s. So much ingenuity, so much fun, it was like being a kid again!
Ah Maya! SO incredible you got to experience it in person!! I have only visited the Pompidou Centre once & it was such a dream- so many of my heroes' works all in one place! Thanks for sharing xx
One exhibit I remember very well was a plastic bat (the kind you get for Halloween) shoved on top of a metal pole. You had to press a pedal with your foot and the bat was flapping away madly. It made us laughed a lot and we pressed the pedal more than once!
